- Indications: partial-thickness wounds, full-thickness wounds (secondary dressing), peripheral and central IV lines, skin tears, lacerations and abrasions and to help prevent skin breakdown caused by friction to epidermis; contraindications: contraindicated as a primary dressing on wounds with moderate to heavy drainage
